Lu Zizhang,with the courtesy name Zefu and the pseudonym Jiulin, was born

in 1973. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He is a member of the

Chinese Poetry Society,a member of the Henan Writers Association,a director of the

Henan Poetry Society and the Prose Poetry Society, the president of the Luohe branch

of the Henan Poetry Creation Research Society,the vice chairman and secretary

general of the Luohe Writers Association, the president of the Luohe Network

Literature Society,and the president of the Luohe Poetry Society. He is the executive

editor-in-chief and editorial director of “Luohe Literature” magazine.

The poet’s works have been selected for anthologies such as “Selected Prose

Poems from Henan”, “Selected Love Poems from China”, “Selected Poems of the

Year in China”, “Selected Poetry from ‘Xueshan Kan’, and ‘Selected Excellent Prose

Poems of the Year in China’ among others. Since 2011,the poet’s works have been

consistently selected for‘China’s Annual Excellent Prose Poems’ for five consecutive

years. The poet’s monographs include “The Moon Sweeps Across the Back of the

Mountain”,“Duet in the Forest”, “Confession at Xu Shen’s Tomb”,”Journey to the

Primordial Past”,and “Eternal Xu Shen”.

Lu Zizhang’s long poem “Journey to the Primordial Past” is a broad and grand
