seasons’ pictures may be beautiful, but you cannot hear the birds’ songs or the sound
of the clear stream…
No matter how capable a teacher is, he or she can’t clearly explain the real
feeling of “The hair is blowing in the wind, curling up and being chased by the strong
wind and the gentle wind”.
Having been engaged in early childhood education for over thirty years,I’ve
gradually come to realize that among “Heaven,Earth,Sovereign,Parents and
Teachers”,teachers are ranked last while Heaven and Earth come first.Between
Heaven and Earth,there exists the kind of “teaching without teaching” and “learning
without learning” on its own.Heaven and Earth are the truest schools.The countryside
is the most beautiful campus.Animals are the kindest companions.All things in the
universe are the most comprehensive teaching materials.With the passage of the four
seasons, the rotation of the stars,the blooming and withering of fl owers,and the rolling
and spreading of clouds, the teacher of nature is giving lectures and expounding all
the time.
In order to truly implement the educational ideal of child-centeredness,we are
on the journey of conducting genuine education,lively education and nature-based
education.On this journey,there are experiences of uniquely beautiful scenery,and more
encouragements,supports and accompaniments from many like-minded people.Here,
special thanks go to Dr.Shen Li from Beijing Normal University.He was the fi rst in the
national preschool education industry to establish a food education workshop,leading
us to conduct multidisciplinary,multi-fi eld and cross-border food education research
and promotion through the implantation of traditional culture.Thanks to Teacher
Zhu Chunlan,the founder of Chinese diet-nourishing meal arrangement,and her
team.It is she who enables us to organically combine food education and diet
nourishing and integrate them into the curriculum and life.Thanks to President Han
Lihua of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine
and her team.It is she who makes our food education practice more professional
and gives us more confidence! Without everyone’s participation, encouragement,
