The essays explore the meaning of life and death, as well as her thoughts about and longings for her homeland; while the chronicles give an almost complete account of her time studying English at NorQuest College, the teaching styles of different teachers, the interactions of different classmates, and the cultural shocks of a different educational system, etc. Reading the book gives readers a glimpse of Canada’s multicultural background, helping them to understand and accept each other as real human beings.
The English version of the book is expected to be available by the end of 2025.
